The Real Magic

1. Homo-sapiens have been around for about 200,000 years
2. We have produced about 100,000,000,000 examples — on this planet
3. Are there other planets, in other solar systems, bearing other “things” of awareness?
   
   
4. I assume that each example of awareness has a personal consciousness – a “SELF”
5. I’m an example – I assume that you are too
   
   
6. Modern science doesn’t believe in reincarnation, so assumes that there must have already been 100,000,000 000 (That’s one-hundred billion) different human selves on THIS planet ALONE — ALREADY
7. If modern science is right, there must be an infinity of POTENTIAL human selves — as well as all of other ANIMAL selves…
8. If there is no reincarnation, how likely is it that I would be existing right now…?
   
   
9. No telling how many life-bearing planets there are in this universe  
10. Maybe, there is only one universe — but who knows?
11. What percentage of reality have we humans figured out?
    
    
12. There are six main animal groups on this planet: invertebrates, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals – how many of these are “conscious” and how many have selves?
13. Consciousness must exist in “degrees”
14. To what DEGREE are these different groups CONSCIOUS?
    
    
15. Then, according to modern science, vegetation and even rocks MAY be conscious!
16. And again, what if there is more than one universe?
17. An infinity of universes?
    
    
18. Then, there’s ME – if I can exist for only one finite time, that I CURRENTLY exist is absolutely amazing
19. Especially, if time is infinite
20. Though, I must admit that time may not be what I think it is…
    
    
21. But again, my theme is RELIGION
22. Religion is about “Meaning” – ULTIMATE meaning
23. We all hope that there is such a thing – I’m about 90% sure that there is
24. Though obviously, it is something that I cannot be very objective about
    
    
25. But then there’s the magic of one’s own existence – one’s own awareness
26. We each take our own existence/consciousness/awareness for granted – but it’s the very last thing that we should
27. Where in the hell did we come from?
28. Could we each be a BASIC PART OF REALITY?
29. Could a universal consciousness be infinitely divisible?
30. Could we each be a division of the universal consciousness?
31. Since our population keeps growing, could more than one of us have been Napoleon in 1800?
